Branson, Missouri.

We took a New Years trip to Branson, Missouri to finish off the year.

A little snow on the morning we left, but we didn't have any problems.

Table Rock Lake State Park.

Shamus takes a nice warm walk in the sun by the lake.

We love to watch the glass blowers at Silver Dollar City, they make it look so easy.

The lights are amazing at Silver Dollar City especially with half off tickets.

St. Franocios State Park; Bonne Terre, Missouri

We had a wonderful time at a park about an hour's drive from home. Charlie and Connie met us there and Norma and Don came for the day on Saturday. It was a great weekend with friends.

The Big River flows through the park.

Montauk State Park, Licking, Missouri. September 2012

We had a wet Labor Day weekend thanks to Hurricane Issac. Mike and Gina and family joined us along with our friend Dave for some fishing and good eating

Our wet campsite. Since the soil is sandy it drained quickly.

Rainy and foggy, just the way I like it.

Dinner was great.

So was breakfast!
